FINSTAD B-ROLL

Congressman Finstad is a fourth-generation farmer from Brown County. He previously worked as an Area Director for the Minnesota Farm Bureau, where he worked with Minnesota farmers in agricultural production.

Since coming to Congress in 2022, Finstad has been a fighter for Southern Minnesota farmers and families. After seeing rampant fraud in Minnesota and around the country by Johnson’s biggest supporters, Finstad took action, passing legislation H.R. 9576, the National Fraud Enforcement Division Act of 2026, in the U.S. House of Representatives. This legislation would make permanent the newly established National Fraud Enforcement Division within the Department of Justice (DOJ) and appoint an Assistant Attorney General for National Fraud Enforcement to lead the division to investigate, prosecute, and prevent fraud within federally funded programs.

Finstad lives in New Ulm with his wife Jackie, and their seven children.
