Voters in NY-03 will hear from Mike LiPetri on broadcast, cable, digital, streaming, and in mailboxes in September that he will be an independent voice for New York who will put a stop to free handouts for illegal immigrants, ban stock trading in Congress, and lower costs so families can afford to stay on Long Island – unlike Tom Suozzi and Kathy Hochul who have sold out their constituents.

Note: Mike LiPetri is running on the Republican and Conservative Lines. Tom Suozzi is running on the Democrat Line. There is no third-party candidate on the ballot.

Shady Stock Trader

During his time in Congress, Tom Suozzi has said that he supports banning Congressional stock trading, but in Congress he failed to disclose over 300 stock transactions worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in violation of federal law.

Pro-Sanctuary City

Tom Suozzi’s support of making Nassau County a sanctuary county and New York a sanctuary state led to migrants being bussed to local communities at the taxpayer’s expense and allowed them to receive taxpayer benefits like housing, healthcare, and food subsidies – costing billions of dollars a year.

Tom Suozzi has built his career on raising taxes, as Nassau County Executive he voted to raise property taxes by hundreds of millions of dollars, has advocated for increasing taxes at the federal level, and has never voted to cut income tax while in Congress.

Against Tax Cuts - Including SALT

Tom Suozzi put partisanship ahead of his constituents, and joined with Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries to vote against making the 2017 tax cuts permanent, including lower income tax rates and a larger standard deduction for middle income families; and instead voted to raise taxes by over $4,000 a person.
