Bill introduced the No Budget No Pay Act because he believes if Congress can’t fulfill its most basic duty to pass a budget, it shouldn’t get paid. He’s also voted to ban members of Congress from trading individual stocks to stop lawmakers from using public office for personal profit.

Sean McCann voted to allow energy companies to raise rates on Michigan families, who now face some of the highest energy costs in the Midwest, with $800 million in approved hikes—all while taking $57,000 in special interest money from the energy industry.

Raising Taxes while Increasing Pay

Sean McCann voted for higher income taxes, backed increases in sales, and property taxes, plus increased fees on water and garbage, while supporting plans to raise gas taxes and energy bills. All while voting to boost his own pay by 22%, sticking you with higher prices.

Sean McCann called America “rife with racism”. McCann said he was proud to be endorsed by organizations that support defunding the police, voted against having a school resource officer in every Michigan school, and even voted for an incentive to give the earliest parole date for violent inmates.
