As a forty-year career politician, Sanford Bishop has voted to give himself a pay raise nine times while the national debt has increased by over twenty-six trillion dollars.

Cost of energy

As gas prices skyrocketed, Sanford Bishop voted to limit domestic oil and gas exploration while Georgians paid record prices to fill up.

Nepotism

Sanford Bishop earmarked more than one hundred ninety thousand dollars in Federal funds for a youth program in Muscogee County that hired Bishop’s stepdaughter and her husband despite the couple reportedly living over one hundred miles away at the time.

Corrupt

In twenty-twenty the Office of Congressional Ethics found that Sanford Bishop misspent campaign funds on his own personal expenses such as golf trips, meals, travel, tuition, fuel and other expenses. He may have used taxpayer money to pay for a Christmas party at his country club.

Voted against rural utility funding

Sanford Bishop voted against a motion increasing funding for rural utilities by one hundred twenty-five million dollars.

  • Chris West is an Air Force officer who continues to serve our country in the Georgia Air National Guard. West is an executive officer in the one hundred and sixteenth Mission support group at Robbins Air Force Base.
  • Chris West is a South Georgia businessman who lives in Thomasville with his wife Jenny, their three kids and he attends the First Baptist Church of Thomasville.
  • Chris West will vote to secure our border by finishing the wall and sending additional resources to help stop the illegal immigration crisis.
