Voters in Cedar Rapids will continue to be reminded of Lindsay James soft on crime record, including voting to weaken penalties for domestic assault offenders while voting for higher taxes for working families including senior’s social security.
Voters across the district need to continue to be reminded of Lindsay James radical views, specifically how she voted to allow sex change surgeries to be performed on children and her stance against parents rights – voting against requiring schools to notify parents if their child wants to change their gender identity.

Joe Mitchell began his public service by running for State Representative at the age of 20. Sworn in at 21, Joe became the youngest state legislator in Iowa history. Following his service in the Iowa state House, he served as a Regional Director at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and as the Chief of Staff at the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Joe has been working hard to ensure that Iowa families have access to housing, so that we all can attain the American Dream of home ownership. Joe is running for Congress to ban congressional stock trading and enact term limits, and he refuses to accept corporate PAC money.
