Brian Steil has delivered real results for Southeast Wisconsin. In Congress, Steil haas voted to extend tax cuts for Wisconsin’s working families, including cutting taxes on tips and overtime, so workers take home more of every paycheck.
Steil has always put people over politics. He voted to cut off pay for Members of Congress during a government shutdown, so that Members of Congress feel the same pain as the American people when Washington fails to do its job. Steil also authored legislation to ban Members of Congress from trading stocks while in office, taking on Washington corruption from the inside.
Prior to being elected in 2018, Steil worked in the manufacturing sector in Southeast Wisconsin where he saw how overregulation from DC hurts economic growth and job creation.
Steil is a Janesville native, Craig High School, Georgetown University and University of Wisconsin graduate.
