State of the Race

Voters in the Detroit DMA will learn that Army Captain Mike Bouchard served on missions on the southern border and Iraq. At home he will fight to support our police and the rule of law to keep our communities safe.

Voters in the Detroit DMA need to see that Christina Hines is a soft on crime prosecutor. Instead of prioritizing victims, Hines has been called quote “compassionate towards the offenders”, including a criminal who committed domestic violence, sex crimes, and stalking, which forced the man’s victim to flee and hide for safety.

Soft on Crime Prosecutor

Probation

While leading the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit, Christina Hines let a man charged with raping a 12-year-old girl off on probation.

Human Trafficker

As a prosector, Christina Hines dropped charges against a human trafficker in 2017 who continued committing the same crime and was finally caught, re-arrested, and sentenced this year on four new counts of human trafficking in Michigan.

Mike Bouchard B-Roll 

Captain Michael Bouchard is a U.S. Army veteran of the 8nd and 101st Airborne Divisions who served on missions to the southern border and Iraw. He earned the Bronze Star for his leadership in the global fight against ISIS.

Bouchard has served as a reserve deputy with the Oakland County Sheriff’s office for over 10 years. He is endorsed by the Police Officers Association of Michigan and the Oakland County chiefs of Police.

Bouchard is a third-generation Michigander. His father, Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, has spent more than 38 years protecting families across Southeast Michigan.
