Voters in NY-04 will hear from Jeanine Driscoll on broadcast, cable, digital, and streaming in September that she is a mother of five who understands the costs of raising a family on Long Island and has used her role as Receiver of Taxes to help Nassau County residents reduce their taxes – while Laura Gillen voted to increase taxes by $5,000 a year and voted against raising the SALT deduction.

Note: Jeanine Driscoll is running on the Republican and Conservative Lines. Laura Gillen is running on the Democrat Line. There will also be a Libertarian candidate on the ballot.

Laura Gillen voted to increase federal income taxes on the average resident of Nassau County by over $5,000.

Laura Gillen voted to cut the Child Tax Credit in half, costing taxpayers and parents thousands of dollars a year; and making raising a family in Nassau County even more unaffordable.

Laura Gillen voted to force schools to allow biological men to compete in women’s sports – and also voted to give biological men access to women’s spaces like locker rooms and bathrooms.

Laura Gillen lied when she said she would protect the World Trade Center Health Program and voted against funding this program – which put the healthcare benefits at risk for thousands of 9/11 survivors on Long Island.
